Everything to know about Polygons
A measuring set that changes shape
Polygons starts flat. Fold one piece into a teaspoon measure and the other into a tablespoon measure, choosing the marked size your recipe needs. The teaspoon covers ¼, ½ and 1 teaspoon; the tablespoon covers ½, 1 and 2 tablespoons.
Those six settings cover several common baking and cooking amounts. A recipe calling for another quantity may require repeated fills, a calculation or another measuring tool.
Make room for the folding habit
Two flat pieces take up less vertical drawer space than a stack of rigid spoons. You do have to fold them into shape each time you select a measurement, so the space saving comes with a new kitchen habit.
The brand describes Polygons as suitable for wet and dry ingredients, with embossed U.S. and metric markings. Its flat shape opens up after use, giving you a different way to scrape out sticky ingredients such as honey.
The Kickstarter history matters
The company acknowledges long fulfillment delays following its 2016 Kickstarter campaign. Its backer update says more than nine out of ten rewards have been delivered and that remaining backers are being contacted. That is the company’s account; the update does not say every reward has been fulfilled.
